EXPOSICIÓN ANDANTE
Madrid 29 de octubre de 2020. Alrededor de 40 personas vestidos de blanco acudieron al Parque del Retiro a las 16:00 horas para dar vida a esta performance. Con treinta obras de tres artistas jóvenes, sujetas por los hombros, pasearon por diferentes lugares emblemáticos de Madrid para reivindicar la necesidad vital de dar visibilidad a sus creaciones y hacer que el público disfrutara de ellas, sólo por amor al arte.
Hicieron varias paradas dentro del mismo parque, para después dirigirse a la puerta de Alcalá, al Ayuntamiento y por último al Museo Del Prado, conectando esta idea de exhibición itinerante con las exposiciones tradicionales, y creando finalmente una simbiosis artística.
Carlota Pérez de Castro, Patricia de Norverto, Sofía Medina y su equipo, han sido los precursores de este nuevo movimiento, que
no pretende ser una acción puntual, sino un evento que se repita una y otra vez, a mayor escala, dando la oportunidad a otros artistas que se encuentren en la misma situación de poder mostrar al mundo su trabajo y su esencia.
Madrid October 29, 2020. Around 40 people dressed in white went to the Retiro Park at 4:00 p.m. to give life to this performance. With thirty works by three young artists, held by the shoulders, the walked through different emblematic places in Madrid to vindicate the vital need to give visibility to their creations and make the public enjoy them, just for the love of art. They made several stops within the same park, and then went to the Puerta de Alcalá, the City Hall and finally the Museo Del Prado, connecting this idea of a traveling exhibition with traditional exhibitions, and finally creating an artistic symbiosis.
Carlota Pérez de Castro, Patricia de Norverto, Sofía Medina and their team have been the forerunners of this new movement, which does not pretend to be a one-off action, but rather an event that is repeated over and over again, on a larger scale, giving the opportunity to other artists who are in the same situation of being able to show the world their work and their essence.
